WEA art students display their work at Westcotes Library

As part of the celebrations for Adult Learners’ Week (18 to 25 May 2013), students from the WEA 101 Branch proudly display their work at the Westcotes Library.  It will be on display until the end of the month, so it is not too late to call in and enjoy the pictures.

They have worked with Annabel Barrett, their tutor, to complete watercolour and pencil pictures of plants and flowers, using traditional botanical illustration techniques.  Others have attended 3 Weeks, 3 Drawing Styles and practised skills in both traditional and coloured pencils, experimenting with pattern making, too.

Students Ann Butler, Mick Savage and John Evans are standing in front of the first display.
