Thursday 18th June 2015 from 13.00 – 14.30
Facilitator Rob Hunter, Leicester Ageing Together Board
We all get older but we don’t have to do it gracefully! Participants will reflect on their own experience of ageing and all the possibilities opening up, with a group discussion and a brief introduction to Ann Karpf’s How to Age.
Many people reaching pensionable age grew up in the 60’s – a period which marked the height of movements for freedom and change, civil rights and peace. How can we capture use this experience for the benefit of all? Can this activism be continued?
Older or younger everyone is welcome!
