Students on the ‘Make Your Own Greetings Cards’ course this term had the opportunity to try out a wide range of ideas and techniques including stamping and masking, creating Bokeh backgrounds and constructing and decorating some fabulous ‘cards in boxes’ which fold flat for posting but open out to look like an open box.
There will be two courses next term: Thursday afternoons 12.30 – 2.30 pm from 28 April, suitable for beginners onwards, and will include learning the popular tea bag folding and iris folding. Then on Saturdays 14 & 21 May, card makers with a little experience onwards can enjoy 2 whole days of crafting with the focus on creating the look of metals – faux tarnished metal, using craft foils and gilding flakes.
