Student Success: English

Experienced WEA English Tutor Ros Taylor has had real success this term with her students.

This is what one of her students, Ann Wills had to say:

I have learnt such a lot from my English classes. I have learnt lots of new words and my confidence has really grown. I feel better about myself now. It’s my ambition to be a book-keeper but I know I have to improve at reading to do that. I also want to be more independent, so I will keep on practising. I have just passed my E1 English, my first ever exam.”

If you would like to brush up your English (and maths) skills, then new courses are starting in the Autumn term, week commencing Monday 19th September 2016.

We offer small classes where you can meet new friends, as well as improving your reading, writing and listening skills.   Call 0116 255 6614 to book your place or pop into 101 Hinckley Road, Leicester LE3 0TD (we’re near the lighting shop on the junction with Fosse Road South) to discuss what’s on offer.
