New Course: Philosophy: Post Truth and Populism – Rhetoric and Politics

The success of populists such as Donald Trump shows that rhetoric now has more influence in politics than truth – or does it? This course uses up to date research by political scientists and political theorists to examine the rhetoric used in populism and the political dynamic of its appeal (or otherwise).
