New Course: Understanding Phonics

The aim of the course is to allow students to participate in learning to read using the methods adopted by all schools known as synthetic phonics.

The course is also appropriate for English speakers working with children who wish to brush up their understanding of how the synthetic phonics method of reading is taught in the classroom.

The tutor is the winner of the 2017 Olive Cordell award.

Dates:  Wednesday 11 April 2018 – 16 May 2018

Times:  1.15 pm – 2.15 pm

Number of weeks:  6
